A Fine Dram

I am Nicholas. I work some of the time. That pays for the home that I share with my awesome wife, Erin, and our awesome daughter, Beatrix. We also have a less-than-awesome dog, Jean Louise. We call her Scout. I think three people have gotten the reference.

I like to take photos, watch movies, go places, do things. I read a lot but don’t always finish the books I start. Sometimes when the weather is nice I’ll hike up a mountain or something.

One could probably learn more about me by reading the posts and pages I’ve put on A Fine Dram than through any autobiography I could put here.

A Fine Dram is hosted on Squarespace. DNS services are through Hover. Both are excellent and I recommend them highly.

Most of my (older) embedded photos are hosted on flickr. Almost all of the newer photos are hosted here on Squarespace. My personal videos are hosted on vimeo.

My Instagram photos are all posted at my tumblr, Images on the Fly. My <140-character thoughts are on my twitter.

Posts and pages written either in the (surprisingly good) Squarespace editor or in the truly excellent Byword, in both OS X and iOS.

Please be cool and don’t steal my original photos/videos/text. Just drop me a line and we’ll work it out, ok? If I have embedded or posted or quoted something of yours that you don’t want embedded/posted/quoted here, or worse, if I have done so with incorrect or non-existent credit, let me know and I’ll make it right for you as soon as possible.
